MINT Condition
This is a rare Chris Killip signed edition of “in Flagrante” published by errata editions, New York in 2009. The first edition of “In Flagrante” was originally published by Sekar & Warburg in 1988. The publisher provides a wonderful summary, “Chris Killip's In Flagrante is often cited as the most important photobook to come from England in the 1980s. Published in 1988, In Flagrante describes the communities in Northern England that were devastated by the deindustrialisation common to policies carried out by Thatcher and her predecessors starting in the mid-1970s. Books on Books 4 presents Killip's political yet lyric work and a new essay by Gerry Badger called Dispatches from a War Zone.”
Measuring 7” x 9.5” and containing 65 duotone and color illustrations, the book is bound in black linen and comes with the original belly band. The book and bellyband are in MINT condition.
The book has been signed by Chris Killip on the title page.
