The Complete Eikoh Hosoe Photobook Collection 54 Volumes -- Featuring 33 Editions Signed by Eikoh Hosoe Eikoh Hosoe is undoubtedly one of the most important and respected photographers in the history of the medium. During the course of his illustrious career, he has consistently pursued original directions in his work that in my opinion has earned him the right to be considered one of the great masters of photography. His images have encompassed a wide variety of subjects but have always maintained a consistent psychological power and intensity. Whether he is focusing on the dialogue between men and women, life and death, the supernatural, theatre, landscapes, the nude, or nuclear devastation, his images are among the most memorable ever produced. When viewed in it’s entirely, the power and intensity of his body of work is testimony to his tremendous contribution to elevating photography to an art form. This is an extremely rare collection that to my knowledge has never been available for sale as a complete collection.
