Daido Moriyama: The Complete Works, Volumes 1-4 (1964 – 2003)
Limited Edition, 2003
Each Volume Signed by Daido Moriyama
Mint Condition
This is a rare signed limited edition of “DAIDO MORIYAMA: THE COMPLETE WORKS, VOLUMES 1-4 (1964-2003)” published by Daiwa Radiator Factory and Taka Ishii Gallery, Tokyo in 2003 with a limitation of 1000 signed copies. Daido Moriyama is well known within his native Japan for his grainy, contrast, black-and-white photos of Japanese street scenes, often shot off-kilter, out of focus, and randomly cropped. His color work maintains a sense of discomfort and alienation, but with a more precise feel. Finally, a retrospective collection of the prolific and pioneering photographer's work has been published. This exquisitely produced edition was limited to a printing of 1,000 copies, and each book is signed by the photographer in English and Kanji in white marker on black end-paper. Each image is accompanied by its relevant and identifying information (reference number, title, medium, and place of publication).
