This is very rare first edition, first printing of the cult photobook “Where is '69 Shinjuku Kaminari Zoku” published by Daisan Shokan, Tokyo in 1980. “Where is ‘69” has taken on cult status in Japan and is almost impossible to find. The book contains numerous gritty black and white photographs documenting the Japanese biker gangs of Shinjuku in the late sixties. Fukuda has done an incredible job of capturing the life style surrounding this slice of pop history.

Measuring approximately 10” x 7”, the book is a soft cover with a photographically illustrated dust jacket.  The condition of the book is FINE- with minor wear to the soft cover wraps. The dust jacket is in Near Fine+ condition with slight wear to the very top right of the dust jacket and general surface wear. Overall, this is a highly collectible copy of a very rare Japanese photobook that is becoming increasingly scarce.
