This is the complete 53 volume collection of Pulitzer Prize winning novels from the 1917 prize inception through 1979. The collection contains some of the finest book ever written. Published from 1975 to 1980, these books feature all the usual Franklin Library fineries including full leather covers, silk moire endpapers, gold gilding and gilting, and satin bookmarks.

The overall condition of the collection is Very Good+ to Near Fine. There are some volumes with slight to moderate shelfwear, spotting to the gold gilt, and a few with rubs and marks to the leather boards. The books were stored in a cedar box by the previous owner and there is a faint smell from the cedar. The books look wonderful on the shelf and appear to be unread.
