Easton Press Masterpieces of Science Fiction
7 Author Signed Volumes including Isaac Asimov and Kurt Vonnegut
This is a collection of seven books published by the Easton Press as part of their Masterpieces of Science Fiction series that are hand signed by the authors (as issued) and feature premium hand-cut full leather boards with a distinct cover design in ornate 22-karat gold gild. The spines are hubbed with raised horizontal ridges formed in the leather. There are decorative endpapers with sewn in matching satin bookmarks. The pages are gold gilded to protect against dust and moisture and the paper used is acid neutral to last generations without discoloring. Each of the books has a blank Masterpieces of Science Fiction bookplate attached to the inside front cover and includes the Collector’s Notes that were issued with the book. Deathbird Stories by Harlan Ellison, 1990, Signed by Harlan Ellison on the signature page as issued. The condition of the book is FINE.
Gateway by Frederik Pohl, 1986, Signed by Frederik Pohl on the signature page as issued. The condition of the book is FINE.
Macrolife by George Zebrowski, 1990, Signed by George Zebrowski on the signature page as issued. The condition of the book is FINE.
Slan by A.E. Van Vogt, 1994, Signed by A.E. Van Vogt on the signature page as issued. The condition of the book is FINE with superficial marks to the side gilt.
The Foundation Trilogy by Isaac Asimov, 1988, Signed by Issac Asimov on the signature page as issued. The condition of the book is Near FINE with marks to the gilt and a minor rub to the spine and a very minor bump to the top edge of the front cover. There are no Collector’s Notes with this title. A special introduction was written by Isaac Asimov entitled, “The Story Behind The Foundation” that appears at the beginning of the book.
The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Leguin, 1992, Signed by Ursula Leguin on the signature page as issued. The condition of the book is FINE- with some scratches to the side gilt.
The Sirens of Titan by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr., 1990, Signed by Kurt Vonnegut on the signature page as issued. The condition of the book is FINE.
