This is a rare signed edition of Robert Frank’s “London/Wales” published by Steidl, Gottingen in 2007 as part of The Robert Frank Project. Then I met a man from Wales talking about the Miners and I had read How Green Was My Valley. This became my only try to make a 'Story'.' -Robert Frank. This magnificent new edition of London/Wales, which features never-before-seen photographs, juxtaposes Frank's images of the elegant world of London money with the grimy working-class world of postwar Wales-bankers opposite coal miners. Containing 70 tritone photographs and measuring approximately 9.75” x 8”, the book is a hardcover with a photographically illustrated dust jacket. The condition of the book is FINE in a FINE- dust jacket with a very minor tear near the top right and minor soiling. The book has been signed by Robert Frank on the half title page with an inscription. As mentioned earlier, a Letter of Provenance provided by the person to whom the book was inscribed will accompany the book. Signed copies of Robert Frank titles are very rare. This is a wonderful opportunity to obtain a signed copy of one of his most famous works.
