Volume 2 – Early Summer Nerves (Shoka Shinkei) by Kiyoshi Koishi. Originally published in 1933, this volume was issued in 2005 with a limitation of 600 copies. The dimensions of the box are 15.5” x 12”.

Volume 7 – Supplement – Masterpieces from “Koga” Magazine (Bessatus – Koga kessaku-shu). Originally published in 1932-1933, this volume was issued in 2006. There is no limitation cited. The book measures 8” x 6” and does not come with a cardboard box.
Each volume is in “As New” condition sealed as issued in the original publishers shipping box. The cardboard boxes are in excellent condition with some evidencing minor creases and top closures that are not flush when closed. This is endemic to these titles because of the material used to construct the boxes. Overall, this is an incredible opportunity to obtain a beautiful set of six of the most important Japanese photobooks ever published.
A composite photograph of the complete set, individual photographs of the boxes, and examples of some of the books as contained in cardboard box appear below. Please note that although the photographs appear digitized as thumbnails, they are viewable in the photo viewer by running your mouse over the thumbnail. You can also click on the thumbnail to open a separate window where the pictures are viewable as a slideshow.
