This book was published by the Franklin Library in 1988 as part of their Library of Mystery Masterpieces Series. This is a very nice copy of the re-issue of the author’s first novel featuring the nameless spy.  The book is signed by the author on the half-title page and features a beautiful color past-on illustration by Terry Widener commissioned for this issue. This edition is bound in gilt decorated navy blue boards, raised bands, with gilted edges and gold gilding on the spine and covers.
