This is a stunning edition of Gone With The Wind issued by the Franklin Mint in 1983 to commemorate the 50^th anniversary of the book. To my knowledge, this is the only Franklin Library edition that was issued by another division of the Franklin Mint. The book was made available only to individuals who purchased various Gone With The Wind memorabilia. The front cover is vastly different from every other Franklin Library publication and it is the only edition that has Patrons Edition in gold gild on the spine. This is a beautiful book that is in exceptional condition and features a deep green full leather cover, marbled endpapers and matching satin bookmark as well as all the usual Franklin fineries including gold gilding and an ornate cover design. The book is housed in a matching slipcase with gold stamping on the front and rear.
