This is a limited edition recreation of the “The Meditations of Marcus Aurelius” that was originally published in 1909 with illustrations by William Russell Flint whom is considered by many to be the greatest watercolor artists of his time. The Easton Press spared no expense in the production of this deluxe limited edition that was limited to 500 copies. Each book comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity but the edition number is unknown as the book is in the original packaging and is still sealed. Measuring 10.75" x 8.25", the book is bound in beautiful full leather bounds and features silk moiré endpapers, gold gilded covers, gold gilting on the page ends, and a built in silk bookmark. The book is housed in a specially designed slipcase that serves to protect and display the volume.
