This is a beautifully produced matching collection of ten Impressionist artist monographs published by the Easton Press and the Bonfini Press in 1993. The books were printed in Italy by Poligrafiche Bolis, S.P.A, Bergamo. Madeleine Ledivelec-Gloeckner, noted art editor, directed the publication of the collection. Each book contains spectacularly photographed paintings as well as essays by leading art critics. The books measure approximately 12” x 9.5” and feature the usual Easton Press fineries including:
- hubbed spine, bound in premium full leathers
- distinctive cover design, beautiful illustrations
- handsome, readable typefaces, permanent satin ribbon page marker
- elegant gilded page edges, endsheets of rich silk moire fabric
- thread-sewn pages for durability and strength, long-lasting high quality, acid-neutral paper
