This is a wonderful signed limited edition matching leather bound collection of the “Astronaut’s Library” published by the Easton Press. The 7 volumes in this collection documents America's space program from Mercury to the Apollo moon landings and is written by the astronauts who participated in the program. Each volume is personally signed by the astronauts and comes with a certificate of authenticity that is also signed and dated by the astronauts. As the publisher stated in their prospectus for this collection, “The ultimate autographed collection for your spaceflight history library”. The matching series contains the following seven volumes:

Book Features: Each book is hand signed by the astronaut and comes with a signed and dated certificate of authenticity. Measuring approximately 9.5” x 6.25”, each book features premium hand-cut full leather boards with a distinct cover design in ornate 22-karat gold gild. The spine is hubbed with raised horizontal ridges formed in the leather. There are silk moire endpapers with a sewn in matching satin bookmark. The pages are gold gilded to protect against dust and moisture and the paper used is acid neutral to last generations without discoloring.
Condition: FINE with some of the volumes having some minor marks to the gilt. The books are in excellent condition and appear to have never been opened. There are no bookplates or signs of previous ownership.
