This is a wonderful 12 volume collection of leather bound books from the Smithsonian Institute published by the Easton Press in 1989. The books are a comprehensive historic guide to the United States with each volume featuring a different region of the country. Included in each volume are beautifully illustrated color photographs and maps to highlight the “must see” places as you take your trip across the country.
