The Franklin Library published many wonderful books before they ceased operations in 2000. However, the most spectacular collection is the “Sixty Series” of author signed, limited editions. The list of books in the series represents some of the finest literary works of the twentieth century. This series was produced over 25 years ago but when you look at the list of titles and authors you realize that they chose well. These books are in FINE Conditon and feature all the usual Franklin Library fineries including full leather covers, silk moire endpapers, gold gilding and gilting, and satin bookmarks. The books are in excellent condition with a few of the volumes having minor marks to the gilt.
