Book Details
Published by Prestel- Verlag, Munich in 1990, this is the First American Edition that includes 159 full page plates of Chagell's work. The book also includes a catalogue to the rear of the book referring to the exhibition 'Marc Chagall : Mein Leiben - Mein Traum, Berlin und paris 1922 - 1940 held at the Wilhelm-Hack Museum, 7 April - 3 June 1990. Of particular note is a very nice 33 page Chagall biography that appears at the beginning of the book. The book measures approximately 12” x 9.5” and is bound in yellow buckram boards with a photographically illustrated dust jacket.
Book Condition
The book is in FINE condition. The dust jacket is also in FINE condition with some very minor surface wear.
