Published between 1987 to 1990, the Franklin Library issued a few leather bound editions in this series but eventually abandoned them to focus on the very elaborate hard covers so they could capture the spirit of the books with fantastic cover treatments. Of particular note is the velvet cover treatment for the Agatha Christie title. The books in the collection are:
