Each volume includes an introduction by the Museum’s Director and contains a history of the Museum and its building, its floorplan with a legend, a selected bibliography, an index of illustrations, and over 100 beautiful full color photographs of the great works of the Museum. Each volume measure approximately 11.5” x 9.5” and is bound in red faux leather boards with gold printing on the spines boards and a photographically illustrated dust jacket. The condition of the books is Near FINE with some wear to the dust jackets as can be seen in the photographs below. Overall, this is a good working set of a nice collection of art books that will give you tremendous insight into the great museums of the world.
