First illustrated edition of Francis Parkman’s classic work featuring numerous full page and in-text illustrations by Frederic Remington printed on coated paper. The frontispiece is a Remington illustration which is protected by a tissue guard. Measures 9” x 6”.
Condition Report
The volume has a tight binding and secure & undamaged hinges. The leather remains whole and supple with minor rubbing to the spine. Internally complete and clean. The page ends evidence some minor soiling. Overall, a beautiful leather bound copy of Parkman’s most important work.
