Uniform publisher’s buckram fine binding with black and bright gilt gold cover and spine decorations. Each volume has white moiré endpapers with reinforced bindings. Gold gilting to the top, fore, and bottom edges.

Three volume antiquarian first edition collection. Contained in the collection are numerous illustrations and steel plate engravings by the great artists of the time. The prints and engravings are on heavy cardpaper protected by tissue guards.Each book measures 13” x 11”.Volume I, 286 Pages; Volume II, 352 Pages; 336 Pages.
Condition Report
All three volumes are in very good shape with tight bindings and strong & secure hinges. The buckram covers show some wear at the head and heel of the spines as well as the edges. Volume 1 has more pronounced wear to the spine. Internally complete and clean. A wonderful set overall that is rarely available in such wonderful condition.
