This landmark mid-twentieth century novel is considered by many critics to be, alongside The Grapes of Wrath, among Steinbeck's most powerful work. East of Eden was made into an equally acclaimed feature length film by Eli Kazan in 1955 staring among others James Dean. Measures 8.5” x 5.5”, 602 pages.
