This is a limited edition reproduction of the 1894 Maurice Leloir illustrated “The Three Musketeers” published by the Easton Press with a limitation of 400 hand numbered copies. Each book comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity but the edition number is unknown as the books are in the original packaging and are still sealed. Alexandre Dumas’s The Three Musketeers is one of the most enduring works in English literature. The illustrations by Leloir were the basis for the look and feel of the 1921 silent film by Douglas Fairbanks. Leloir was a consultant on the film and also worked with Fairbanks on the sequel The Man in the Iron Mask.
