This is a beautiful limited edition recreation of the original1882 illustrated edition of The Prince and the Pauper published by the Easton Press with a limitation of 400 hand number copies. The book comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity but the edition number is unknown as the book is in the original packaging and is still sealed.  “The Prince and the Pauper” was Twain’s first book of historical fiction is one of the most popular and well read of all classics in the Western Literature.
