Originally published in 1925, the book features 22 of the Grimm Fairy Tales and the incredible illustrations of Kay Nielsen that are considered by many to be among his finest works.

Measuring 11" x 9" with 12 color plates including the frontispiece and 10 black-and-white illustrations, the book is beautifully bound in full leather with pictorial cover and spine by Kay Nielsen in gold and turquoise, gold gilted pages ends, silk moiré endpapers, and built in satin bookmark.

The book is in FINE condition. Overall, this is an exceptional copy of a beautifully produced edition of one of the great classics.
