This is an impressive four volume matching set published by the Easton Press in 2002 as part of their “World War ll Leaders”series. The four volumes are:

 

Hitler: A Study in Tyranny by Alan Bullock

 

Mussolini: A Biography by Denis Mack Smith

 

Hirohito and the Making of Modern Japan by Herbert P. Bix

 

Stalin: Breaker of Nations by Robert Conquest

 

Each book measures approximately 9.5” x 6.5” and contains a portrait frontispiece as well as the usual Easton Press fineries including full rich black  leather covers, silk moiré endpapers, gold gilding and gilting and built in satin bookmarks. The condition of the set is FINE. The books are in excellent condition and appear to have never been read. There are no bookplates, markings, or any other signs of previous ownership
