This is a signed limited and only edition of “Punk Picasso” published by AKA Editions, New York in 2003. The book is a scrapbook format retrospective of Clark's career, with family snapshots, unpublished images from "Tulsa" and "42nd Street", photographs from his first film "Kids" and his new film "Ken Park", clippings from reviews of exhibitions and films, correspondence, transcribed stories, and other ephemera. Designed by Larry Clark and Andrew Roth, the book is 496 pages with numerous b/w and color reproductions. The book provides an intense look into the life and work of this unconventional and controversial photographer and filmmaker.
Measuring approximately 8 1/2” x 11”, the book is a soft cover bound in illustrated laminated stiff wrappers and comes in a cardboard slip case. The condition of the book, wrappers and slip case is FINE. This is a flawless copy of an important work by Larry Clark.
This book is number 350 of the limited edition of 1000 and has been stamp-numbered, signed and dated in green ink pen on last page by Larry Clark.
