This is a rare signed first edition, first printing of Mark Ellen Mark’s first book that was published by Lustrum Press, New York in 1974. Mary Ellen Mark has published 15 books to date and is one of the world's most respected and influential photographers. She has received every possible award in the world of photography and was recently voted by the readers of American Photography as their favorite woman photographer of all time. “Passport” was her first published book and though primarily focusing on travel and unique cultural expression around the world, this work also includes several photographs of famous personalities.

Measuring approximately 12” by 9”, the book is a soft cover in glossy bound photographically illustrated wrappers. The condition is Near Fine with some surface wear and curvature to the wraps and a very small ink stamp on the inside cover.  The original price sticker of $9.95 is on the back cover.

The book is boldly signed by Mary Ellen Mark on the title page.
